Pirates and Princesses of the Quarter
Transform recycled treasures into pirate ships and princess crowns fit for the bravest Pirates and regal Princesses of the Quarter.
Stamford Quarter's Not so Secret Garden is undergoing a Spring time makeover, just in time to host a packed programme of family friendly events. Expect live music, craft workshops and wildlife!
Our Not so Secret Garden will be brought to life this Easter with “high rise knitted flowers, larger than life butterflies and animal installations”, with a focus on “wildlife, nature and sustainability”.
The makeover will be complete with accompanying activities, entertainment and family fun for all during the Easter break.
Between April 12th and 14th, the garden will be the start point for the ‘Hare & the Easter Eggs’ free treasure trail around the town, produced by Altrincham BID and sponsored by Bruntwood Works.
Then on Good Friday and Easter Saturday between 11am and 1pm, there will be a two-day family festival of entertainment and free Easter-themed workshops including Inch Art’s flower art canvas and hedgehog house building, and masterclasses from the Cheshire Beekeeper’s Association and Eco Warriors.
There will also be sessions to encourage mindfulness through nature by exploring the importance of self-care and being kind to our bodies by Just Relax.
