Netwalking with Altrincham BID returns
Our popular Netwalking sessions are back for another year! Starting from May, join us once a month on a Monday from 12.25-1.15 for an invigorating stroll through the town center.
The Stamford Quarter is set to be transformed for Easter as families are invited to come along for a special Easter celebration on Saturday 8th April!
The Not So Secret Garden and George Street will host a busy Easter programme of FREE arts and craft workshops with Inch Arts and Eco warriors, fabulous food and drink and live music. The space will be given an Easter makeover, decorated with colourful Spring bunting, rainbow archways, Easter bunnies. There'll be lots of places to browse, sit and just hangout for the perfect place to enjoy Easter fun in the town centre.
From 11.00am-4.00pm there will be four arts and craft workshops courtesy of Inch Arts. Designed for the whole family they will include canvas painting, Easter card making, Egg decorating and drop-in badge- making. The sessions are bookable and places are limited so it’s advisable to book in advance.
With a focus on wildlife, nature and sustainability the Eco Warrior Sessions will take place in the Spring themed Not So Secret Garden as a series of ‘eggsperiments’ with children and adults asked to test their engineering skills and see what materials they can use to protect an egg before trying to smash it. There will also be the chance to plant carrot seeds and take home in biodegradable trays.
