Our public consultation is now live. The future vision explores some of the exciting plans and developments to further enhance the significant regeneration that Altrincham town centre has already undergone. Have your say by reviewing the plans and then sharing your thoughts, feedback and ideas around these.

Before submitting planning for aspects of the vision, we'd like to get your feedback. Whilst we'd normally hold a public consultation event the ongoing COVID-19 regulations make this not possible. Therefore, to have your say on these proposals, please complete an online feedback form here or visit the contact us page here for other ways to provide your comments or get in touch.

*Please note that this is pre-planning application consultation which is being undertaken to inform the draft proposals. As the Local Planning Authority, Trafford Council’s planning officers will undertake formal consultation on the submitted applications in accordance with the Council’s statutory duties.

Delivering more homes will help secure successful, sustainable and healthy communities. In addition it will increase footfall, create a night-time economy outside of the normal office workers hours and
improve the sense of place and community.

Anchored by a fully let Station house, current indicators suggest an undersupply of workspace within a wider eco-system on offer in the area ranging from coworking to SME offer building to larger scale businesses within Station House.

The transformation of the high street and Stamford Square will help to forge a community feeling and give prospective and existing residents, workers, retailers, consumers and investors a sense of belonging.

Altrincham Interchange is less than a minute’s walk away, meaning that Stamford Quarter is well-connected by bus, train and Metrolink to Greater Manchester and beyond.

Sustainability is at the heart of these proposals, which seek to maximise the benefit of the town centre location, next to excellent public transport links.
