The Stretch Station To Open In The Stamford Quarter
Altrincham’s The Stretch Station is set to open a brand new Longevity and Recovery Studio in the Stamford Quarter in Autumn 2026.
Boutique bowling brand, Lane7, will officially open its doors to Altrincham on Friday 26th July at the Stamford Quarter’s Foundation building.
The UK’s favourite boutique bowling and entertainment venue, Lane7, will be bringing all of its most popular gaming activities to Altrincham. In addition to nine bowling lanes, there will be seven gaming options allowing guests to bowl, drink and play all night long.
This will include Shuffleboard, Augmented Darts (an immersive darts experience that's digitally enhanced). Beer Pong (the only game where it's fun to lose), a Shooting Pod, Retro Arcade machines, Ping Pong, and private room karaoke experiences.
Lane7 Altrincham will sit alongside three other retail and hospitality brands including Starbucks Coffee, Yum Cha and Nell’s pizza creating a vibrant new leisure destination for Altrincham Town Centre.
Lane7 Altrincham will feature its trademark urban interiors inspired by an industrial aesthetic. The venue will showcase the brand’s signature graffiti walls and a host of new features bespoke to the Stamford Quarter site including a brand-new disco toilets.

Altrincham’s retail and leisure destination, the Stamford Quarter, has announced that leading health and beauty retailer Superdrug will be opening a new store in the heart of the town centre. The new store is set to open early summer.
Altrincham's Stamford Quarter finished 2025 in a position few UK town centres can match: near-full occupancy across retail and workspace, and over 4.5 million visitors recorded in 2025 (an increase of 14 per cent on 2024).
