Stamford Square welcomes Into the Wild Pizza and the expansion of Stutter & Twitch

Artisan coffee and music concept, Stutter & Twitch, have expanded their operation on Stamford Square with a bar and food menu serving a new al fresco dining space. The Stamford Quarter has also welcomed Into the Wild Pizza who will be serving up their seasonal and foraged woodfired pizzas onto Stamford Square, as the area begins its evolution into a more community-focused public space.

Stutter & Twitch have grown their innovative “Coffee Caravan” into a permanent
bricks and mortar unit in the former Cheese Peddlers unit which is now kitted out as a
“Keggerated” bar with retro fridges serving beer on tap from the kegs inside.

The new permanent Stutter & Twitch serves ten craft beers and a curated cocktail and wine menu, in addition to their current artisan coffee and record offering. The team is also now serving up a signature ‘melts’ menu - dreamy cheese toasties based around Barbakan sourdough bread and filled with ingredients from the best local suppliers. The menu includes an all day offering from “The Breakfast Club” to “Croque Caravan”.

Meanwhile, woodland pizza sensation, Into the Wild are pitching up their horsebox unit to bring beautiful woodfired pizza to Stamford Square.

Founder of Into the Wild, Adam Taylor has created a pizza sensation in nearby Bollin
Wood serving up pizza and coffee from a den in the forest. Adam, who is a bushcraft
and foraging expert has created a menu that is inspired by nature serving seasonal and local specials, like ‘foraged wild garlic, mozzarella, Parmesan, sun dried tomatoes, prosciutto and truffle oil’. All this is coming to Stamford Square alongside Adam’s full menu of more traditional toppings like Margherita and Mushroom & Ham plus wraps, fries and crepes.

Adam will also be holding workshops where guests can attend local foraging sessions and then learn how to make a pizza from the Square.

Both Into the Wild and Stutter and Twitch will be serving onto Stamford Square where
dining tables and chairs and the recently installed ‘domes’ will create a new al fresco
dining area for Altrincham.

A live music stage will host DJs and live music when restrictions allow.

Into the Wild will be serving the public from 19th April from 12 until 9pm to start with.
Stutter and Twitch is open from 9am - 11pm.

The arrival of Stutter & Twitch and Into the Wild expansion marks part of Bruntwood Works’ and Trafford Council’s ambitions to reshape the high street in Altrincham, which includes creating a community-focussed, multifaceted public square at the heart of the Stamford Quarter destination.

The new vision for the Stamford Quarter is to transform the area into a mixed-use
destination that makes Altrincham an even better place to live, work and play for local
families and the wider community. The community can now have their say on the
proposed masterplan here.

Bruntwood Works are seeking more innovative and exciting brands to join the
neighbourhood as part of their vision for the future of the Stamford Quarter. With
opportunities ranging from pop up shops to large-scale units, there are lots of options
for independent enterprises to join the new high street community in Altrincham.
