Co-op’s brand-new ‘On the Go’ store lands in Stamford Quarter

There’s a new way to eat, drink and shop in Altrincham and it has arrived right here at Stamford Quarter! We’re so excited to welcome Co-op’s brand-new ‘On the Go’ store, the very first to open in the North West and only the second of its kind in the entire country.

Think of it as convenience, but with a twist. This isn’t your usual Co-op, it’s a store built for busy days and tasty pitstops, packed with fresh food designed to grab and go. From 7am right through to 7pm, you’ll find everything from breakfast bircher pots and deli-inspired wraps to hot baguettes, buttermilk chicken tenders and wholesome salad bowls. And here’s the clever bit… When the doors close in the evening, the store switches gears and goes fully online-only. That means freshly cooked Co-op Irresistible pizzas delivered to your door in minutes via Just Eat, Deliveroo or Uber Eats. Perfect for those nights when you don’t feel like cooking but still want something delicious.

Co-op has designed the store around the way people actually eat today, quick, fresh, high-quality meals that fit around modern life.
