Join us on Saturday, 22nd June, as Stamford Square transforms into a vibrant hub of creativity and community fun with the installation of Stamford Quarter's new mural. Local artists Kirsty Gabsai and Rick Eades will bring their artistic vision to life, featuring contributions from residents and visitors who participated in community workshops throughout May.
Event Highlights:
- Mural Installation: Watch as the new mural, showcasing interpretations of community members' words and cartoons, is installed on the kiosk space opposite Starbucks.
- Live Music & Street Food: Enjoy live music and delicious street food to celebrate the occasion.
- Interactive Art Activities for Kids: Children can join in the fun by lending a hand with the installation using spray paints and stencils.

The play days are part of the Stamford Quarter’s Summer of Play programme. Focussing on the themes of 'Makes, Tastes, Moves and Sounds' events will be taking place on different weekends throughout the summer and will feature a fun and engaging range of activities for the whole family to get involved with.

The Stamford Quarter Street party | Saturday 31st August 12-8pm
The Stamford Quarter Street Party will be an all day event to mark the reopening and completion of the regeneration of the area. The morning will feature children's activities like face painting and interactive workshops, and a teddy bear picnic. Local radio station Happy Radio will provide live entertainment throughout the day with a live band playing in the evening. There will be a variety of food and drink options available from local vendors, as well as games and music in the newly refreshed Stamford
